Priority Codes

Priority codes must be used on all calls where applicable. Priority codes allow for a quick review of important information on the dispatch board. If priority codes are not used, this allows for error when scheduling and dispatching.

The Order of importance is 1,2 are the primary codes if there are multiple you are to note the other codes at the TOP of your notes (Tech specific or Aged)

  1. Forced Rebook - Available to be moved up.

Customer opted to be moved up if something becomes available.

  2. Forced Rebook - Happy with new date

Customer does not wish to be moved.

  3. Requests Specific Tech.

If a customer would prefer a specific technician, use priority code 3. If priority code 4 is already in use, note the request in Job Instructions.

  4. Aged Equipment code.

Any equipment 12 years or older must have a priority code 4. Priority code 4 takes precedence over any other code.

  5. Default priority code.

When doing rebooking calls you will present them with a date in the future (maybe far), you can advise the customers that we can place them on a cancellation list for an earlier spot if they are unhappy with the availability.

“Due to the amount of emergency repairs we are rebooking all of our scheduled Maintenance calls, I have the following dates available ____. If you would like I can notate the account to have you placed on the cancellation list in the even we have more availability”
